Appetizers & Sorbets: Tangerine Sorbet

3 1/2 cups fresh tangerine juice
3/4 cup superfine sugar

Stir together the juice and sugar in a bowl until sugar is dissolved. Chill covered about 3 hours until cold. Freeze in an ice cream maker. Transfer to airtight container and freeze until hard. Makes 5 cups
