Breakfast: Corn and Sausage Casserole

4 tbs butter
¼ cup flour
½ tsp salt
dash pepper
2 cups milk
1 pound sausage, cooked and drained
1 can whole kernel corn
1 cup soft bread crumbs

Melt butter and add flour. Stir to smooth. Gradually add milk and cook, stirring over medium heat until it forms a semi-thick cream sauce. Add salt and pepper. Mix cooked sausage and corn and add cream sauce. Place in a greased casserole dish and top with bread crumbs. Cook at 350° for about 20-30- minutes or until edges bubble.
